I continue to work in traditional printmaking processes along with my paintings and sculptures. One of my favorite processes is black and white monotypes. This process is similar to painting on a sheet of plexiglass, and then the inks are transferred to a sheet of plexiglass on the bed of a printing press. I love the spontaneity and energy of the pieces, and while using so much color in my paintings, it is refreshing to return to dealing just with values.
